A new resource to provide immigration guidance and support for TWU students

TWU is enhancing services to better ensure that our incoming students receive the guidance and assistance they need

Trinity Western University is committed to equipping all students for lives of excellence, meaning, and impact. As part of our strategic vision and plan as a global Christian university, we continue to welcome and provide holistic support to students from all around the world.

We are pleased to announce a new partnership between Trinity Western University and BorderPass. Founded by Canadian entrepreneurs and legal experts, BorderPass shares TWU's ambition of simplifying the immigration journey for international students. With this partnership, TWU is enhancing our services to better ensure that our incoming students receive the guidance and assistance they need throughout their initial immigration process.

Below are some key highlights of what BorderPass brings to TWU students.

What BorderPass brings to TWU students

In the initial roll-out, students applying to TWU without agent support will receive free access to BorderPass services for one year from the point of admission:

Study permit application preparation, review, and filing services as well as PAL submission through BorderPass by Canadian immigration lawyers. Notifications of key dates, continuous monitoring and management of their visas and immigration documentation.
A relationship with Canadian immigration lawyers and access to professional legal immigration experts, including group workshops, one-on-one consultations, and email/chat support with prompt response times.
Ongoing tracking and management to ensure compliance, providing students with visibility, guidance and tips on their permanent residency pathways, and additional services such as social insurance number registration and more.

Additional visa services could also become available, such as study permit extensions, co-op work permits, post-graduation work permits, spousal permits, visitor visas, and more will be available at preferred rates in addition to standard government fees.
